Letters and papers, mainly those of Chester Patterson and D. Williams Patterson Tioga County, New York; collection includes deeds, wills, bail bonds, bank notes, court documents, tax due lists and sales notices; also loose accounts and account books, and a bound volume of a doctor's journals. Collection includes a bound volume of mounted manuscripts (chiefly of Massachusetts origin), a copy of the will of James Patterson of Billerica, Massachusetts, and of Joseph Patterson; also, deeds, tax assessments, and newspaper clippings.
